Rachel's Theme Project 2
I wanted to first say
thank you to my wonderful classmates and professor Sinkoff. Group 1 talked
about Visual and physical impairments. I really learned a lot about the
presentation they did as a whole. Each member of the group addressed a
different kind of impairment with detailed information, photographs, and
videos. That day I was so sleepy and wanted to go back to sleep but when they
were presenting, I was wide awake and was engaging to they information they
gave. The slides also made me say “wow they did good”. I learned so much about
Blurred vision, epilepsy, loss of peripheral vision, etc. they did amazing, and
I want to thank them for choosing that topic and giving information about it. Group
2’s presentation was interesting and well planned out. Like I said I learned
something new every time we’re doing a theme presentation even if this was our
second one, but I learned a lot and I wanted to thank them for sharing. I myself
didn’t know how autism and traumatic brain injury were similar. You can tell
they knew what they were doing and talking about with the topic. Although one
of the group members had to leave early due to him having a test but it was
amazing to look and hear them give more details about the topic. Off topic but there
is a show called “The Good Doctor” and the main character has autism and turned
out to be a doctor but that just reminded me of the show. We all are humans,
and we all are unique no matter what kind of disability we have. We all learn from
one another, and we all shouldn’t judge one another because he or she have this
kind of disability and can’t do this or that you know. But overall, I feel as
if we need to bring more awareness about these types of conditions so others who
are affected or know someone who’s affected can live their lives by knowing we
the people care for them and know that we’re here for them. I also didn’t know
what ASD in adults, TBI treatments, ASD in children, and TBI Classifications. They
all did an amazing job explaining everything piece by piece. Thank you group 2
for sharing your work/research. On to the last group, which is my group, group
3. Overall, we did an outstanding job if I do say so myself. I was so scared to
present my part on Friday I literally practiced what I was going to say I had
it all planned out, but I don’t know what happened I guess my anxiety came out
and said unt unt you’re going to mess up. But my classmates were calming me
down and saying that it’s okay you’re doing great and etc. everyone in my group
did an outstanding job everything was well planned out and it was just a great
experience. I’m going to miss my group, the class, everything. It was an
amazing experience.
Great! I am so glad that you enjoyed these presentations. I agree!!!
